About Marie

Marie E. St. Cyr is an experienced paralegal and long-term employee of the law firm. Marie obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies from Notre Dame College in 1992, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Marie works closely with Attorney Stark on all aspects of legal work. She has extensive experience in civil litigation, including professional liability cases, construction disputes, mechanic’s liens, and commercial litigation. She also assists Attorney Stark in estate planning, probate administration, and real estate transactions.
Marie works closely with clients on a daily basis and performs substantive tasks, including legal research and document preparation under the direct supervision of Attorney Stark. The use of paralegals saves our clients money, because a paralegal’s time is billed at significantly lower rate than an attorney’s time. Paralegals also increase client satisfaction, as the paralegal is available to the client at times when the attorney is out of the office or engaged in other tasks.
